The National Lacrosse League has announced Buffalo Bandits forward Ryan Benesch as the “Pinty’s Wingman of the Week” award winner for Week 3 of the 2015 NLL season. Benesch, who is tied for first on the Bandits with 16 points (9+7) this season, recorded a team-high four assists and added three goals in Buffalo’s 14-13 road win over the Vancouver Stealth this past Saturday.

The Bandits travel to Toronto in Week 4 for the Rock’s home opener at Air Canada Centre on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET. The next NLL on TSN game is set for Saturday night when the Calgary Roughnecks host the Edmonton Rush at Scotiabank Saddledome for the first “Battle of Alberta” of 2015 at 9 p.m. ET live on TSN2 and WatchESPN.

Toronto Rock forward Josh Sanderson, the league’s leader with 20 points (4+16) in just two games this year, previously won the award in consecutive weeks to start the season.

Pinty’s is an official partner for the NLL on TSN during the 2015 season. Each week, an NLL player will receive the “Pinty’s Wingman of the Week” award based on their performance with respect to passing prowess and playmaking abilities. The weekly award winners will be entered into the pool of finalists for the “Pinty’s Wingman of the Year” award at the end of the season.
