RE: Tri-Mach Expands Operations in Manitoba

Oak Bluff, MB – Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 – Tri-Mach is proud to announce the opening of its new facility in Oak Bluff, Manitoba.

Located just outside of Winnipeg’s downtown core, this new facility, approximately 20,000 sq. ft., is equipped with top-of-the-line fabrication equipment – ideal for supporting the growing needs of the food, agriculture, and pharmaceutical industries. The facility is home to a new, highly-skilled, Manitoba-based field service team, dedicated to serving its valued customers in Manitoba and Western Canada. Supported by Sales and Operations Manager, Warren Nordquist, this branch welcomes a team of licensed millwrights and apprentices, fabricators, and machinists.

As a leading employer of the skilled trades, Tri-Mach’s commitment to providing an exceptional apprenticeship program and continued training and development for its employees truly sets them apart. “We’re excited to see Tri-Mach make such a significant investment in Manitoba’s manufacturing sector,” says Ray Karasevich, President and CEO of the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT). “We see some real opportunities here for collaboration that will benefit our students while they learn; we look forward to working together to support Tri-Mach’s growth in Manitoba.”

Tri-Mach has experienced exponential growth in Western Canada and is proud to have chosen Manitoba as the location of its new facility. Ryan Kuffner, Vice President of Sales & Business Development for Economic Development Winnipeg says, “Tri-Mach’s ability to offer everything from millwrighting to design engineering and packaging automation will be a welcome addition to multiple growing sectors across our province. Winnipeg is a strong workforce development hub for companies, which means Tri-Mach can access the skilled talent it needs from our cutting-edge secondary and post-secondary institutions.”

“The opening of our new Manitoba facility was based on the tremendous growth of the food and agriculture sectors in the province. We are excited to provide better, local support to our existing customer base and create new customer relationships within the region and Western provinces. We look forward to our partnerships with MITT and Economic Development Winnipeg moving forward,” says Krystal Darling, CEO of Tri-Mach Group.

Tri-Mach is excited to set permanent roots in Manitoba, strengthening its reputation as a trades-focused, custom solutions provider across Western Canada.
